So many choices...Where to begin?  

Does clip size matter?  YES, if you wish the clip to do the holding of hair.  NO, if you are using a pony band first and the bow is simply for decoration.



Our bows & flower clips can be worn many ways:

  1.  In the hair (choose the appropriate clip size for her amount of hair). Snap clips are highly recommended if her hair is wispy fine and you want the clip to hold the hair. 

2.  In front of a pony tail.

3.  On a headband. (Stretchy or traditional u-shaped) Any size of clip/bow will work for this option, but Toddler sized & larger look the most proportional on a headband.

4.  Clipped to a tee or skirt (yes, even for Moms!) for a fashion-forward look. 

5.  Layered into a larger bow for endless possibilities!

Our bows were designed with function as the primary focus. They are made using snap clips that are lined in soft velvet. It is the combination of the snap and soft velvet that creates a perfect hold for fine baby hair.

The clips start small for NEWBORNs (Stg 1 - shown in blue), and gradually get bigger as your little girl grows and gets more hair. Newborn clips will grasp onto just a sprig of hair, and are approximately 1" long (30mm).  The bow is always proportionate to the clip, and together they are always the perfect fit.

With our BABY clip (Stg 2 - shown in orange), the bow gets a little bigger as does the clip. The Baby clip is about 1.5 inches (40mm). The TODDLER clip (Stg 3 - shown in hot pink) and our most popular, is a 2 inch clip (50mm). The bow is bigger as well as the clip to hold more of that fine toddler hair. Finally the PRESCHOOL clip (Stg 4 - shown in yellow), is our largest & is almost a 2.5 inch clip with a much larger bow.

Alligator clips are used on our SCHOOL AGE bows. We use both single & double prong. These clips weren't designed to hold hair securely but they do slide in easily with just a simple pinch of the clip.  Another clip we use is a VELVET lined alligator. These clips DO hold hair back very well. Its because the velvet helps grip the hair to keep it in place.
